Based on one of Lowe Alpine's original daypacks, the Klettersack is a retro styled heritage bag which is perfect for urban and mountainous adventures alike.
Lowe Alpine use a thick, retro canvas for the main bulk of the bag which not only looks brilliant, but is tough enough to cope with years of heavy abuse. The base of the bag is then layered with a thick leather to deal with regular abrasion, while leather attachment points on the front, sides, base and top of the bag allow you to strap extra gear or lights externally.
Even though this pack has a retro style, it takes modern day features such as a laptop sleeve and adjustable chest strap to enhance the everyday useability. The laptop sleeve can also be used to store a hydration bladder (don't try to store both at the same time). The Klettersack is pretty simple when it comes to pockets; you get one pocket with leather zip pulls on the lid, a laptop sleeve on the inside and a large main compartment with a drawstring closure.
Not only does this pack look and feel fantastic, it has all the modern features you need for everyday modern life. It's the ideal pack for someone who doesn't need an ultra-technical mountain focused pack, but more a versatile everyday bag which is perfectly suited for a walk around the black mountains or the local woods.
