Quality You Can Trust

Most stock headphone cables are made of poor, ultra-thin conductors that work as a bottleneck for sound. Poor geometries, no shielding, rubber jackets, and a whole host of other issues in OEM cables can limit the performance of the headphone driver in terms of clarity and definition.

Dragon Cables are handcrafted from quality materials in Moon Audio's headquarters in Cary, North Carolina. All of our cables are created with ultra-pure, single-crystal silver and copper strands and engineered to provide the cleanest, most musical presentation. Our wire is void of impurities and crystalline boundaries, leaving nothing between you and your music.

Silver Dragon Sound Signature

The Silver Dragon is the original cable. Silver strands clarify instrument separation, increase soundstage, and find previously lost high and mid-frequency sounds. Transients appear more cohesive and the bass tighter for a more controlled sound. The detail and clarity of the Silver Dragon make it a perfect match for classical music and other genres with many nuanced instruments.

"The Silver Dragon JH3A Cable and Silver Dragon IEM Cable gives a 3db increase in input sensitivity across the entire frequency range and much greater detail than any other cable."

2-Pin Connections

This cable now includes 2 types of 2-pin connection. The first is for Custom & Universal IEMs that include memory wire for 2 pin connection option. This is typically used for IEMs like JH Audio, Noble Audio, Empire Ears and many others that utilize a cable that wraps around the ear.

The second option was specifically designed for the new Audeze IEMs. Such as Audeze iSine10, iSine20 & LCD-i4 with a 2 pin connection that offers a locking channel and no memory wire for a direct drop down cable from the IEMs.

Cable Design

This cable features a coaxial design utilizing a 99.99998% UP-OCC stranded silver 26AWG center conductor for the positive leg. The center conductor uses Kevlar reinforcing and is wrapped concentrically by a 99.99998% UP-OCC silver-plated single crystallized UP-OCC pure copper-stranded 26AWG gauge conductor with 7N purity 99.99998%. The left and right signal cables run parallel to each other resulting in a very low inductance. Both signal jackets are polyethylene and the cable is extremely flexible yet very resilient and resistant to flex failure.

This cable can be used with a variety of different connectors, both balanced and unbalanced, such as a 3.5mm TRS Mini plug, 2.5mm TRRS Balanced Plug, or 4.4mm TRRRS Balanced Plug. As always, we custom build this cable in house using high-quality Cardas silver solder.

What is UP-OCC?

UP-OCC stands for Ultra Pure Ohno Continuous Casting (OCC). This is not a material but a way of extruding silver and copper to prevent any impurities and fractures in the crystalline structure of the wire. The wire is drawn very slowly to cast as an almost perfect single crystal small diameter conductor. The resulting purity and the size of the cast wire makes a tremendous difference and there is less damage to the near-perfect cast state. We find this UP-OCC process produces a very clean and close to neutral sound in our copper- based and silver-based cables.

Connecting the Silver Dragon IEM Cable

  • Red: Right Channel
  • Blue: Left Channel
  • Dots should always point up

With the red dot facing upward, slide the connector straight into the right IEM until flush with the shell. Repeat with the blue dot and the left IEM.

Hack Your Headphones

Dragon Cables are an easy do-it-yourself upgrade to your favorite headphones with detachable cables. With a wide array of connection options, a plug-and-play cable is just a few clicks away.

We also offer custom headphone hacks for your hard-wired cans, like many Grado, Sennheiser or AKG headphones. For more information on custom headphone modifications, visit our .
